it is a lovely evening here and as the sun begins to set between my backyard and the sound, i want to follow it there and then all the way across the sea and around the world until it slowly makes it way to greeting you with morning light in a place that is now sleeping behind me to the east. if i could break the rules of distance and time, i would pick you up and drop you right down here, we could make our way down golden gardens park. light up a fire on the beach. roll our pants up to our knees and play in the water.

i have been traveling from seattle quite a bit these last few weeks. outside the city to a wedding in the mountains, across the country for a quick weekend of work and friends in the windy city, then up to bellingham to see old dear camp friends. here are some shots from these good good times.

for now, i will leave it to the lucky old sun to send warm greetings.
